Flinchy’s offers a new, energetic bar and upscale casual dining experience in Camp Hill, PA. The décor is designed to replicate and imitate some of the memorable dining experiences that the Flinchbaugh family has enjoyed in their extensive travels around the globe. The most popular of these is the hot rock; cooking filets, steaks, lobster, and more on a highly heated volcanic stone at your table.

“My wife and I experienced hot rock cooking in Europe several years ago and absolutely loved it. Our kitchen at Flinchy’s was so small I didn’t think we had room for hot rock but my wife kept telling me we needed to find a way to make it work. She finally convinced me and surprisingly it took only a few minor adjustments in the kitchen to make a small space adequate for the Rok system. I’m glad I listened because since introducing Rok, we’ve won back-to-back awards for ‘Best Suburban Restaurant,” our sales have increased 40% and we’ve become quite profitable. The idea of combining a restaurant with an art gallery may not be new, but it is new for St. George. This is one of the reasons Anasazi Steakhouse and Gallery is so appealing—a feast for the stomach and the eyes. The menu focuses on fondue and meat that can be cooked by the chefs or brought to your table on a heated lava stone where you can finish the cooking process to your exact specifications.

“About a year after we opened as a fondue restaurant, we found our customers weren’t too crazy about the entree fondues although they loved the cheese and chocolate fondues. We saw a show on TV about rock cooking and decided this was the perfect substitute for our entree fondues. Since introducing Rok, it has been the perfect combination with the fondue and our customers love it. Twin Dragon owner Michael Lee challenged General Manager Mike Brittain to find something unique and innovative for his new sports bar. Mike had been to Australia several years before and had eaten on a hot rock and totally loved the experience. “Selling the idea to Michael was easy - it was one of those “no-brainers,“ commented Mike. “We felt that it was the perfect match for a sports bar and our sports fan clientele.and we were absolutely right.
